Great weather and a great event here in Keswicks superb Whinlatter Forest trails. Its been a while since I shot any Mt Biking footage as I have mainly been shooting stills. Having the Canon 5D mark 2 which shoots HD video has got to be the best camera I have ever used. Check my Photography Website for more info photolakedistrict.co.uk

Whinlatter Altura Challenge Photographs

I managed to get up to Whinlatter Forest to shoot the Altura Trail yesterday for a few hours. It consisted of approximately 30 miles of grueling mountain madness throughout the forest. Merewood Hotel Wedding Photography

This Saturday I was at the Merewood Hotel shooting Linda and Shauns Wedding which is situated in an elevated position overlooking Lake Windermere. It was a great day with lovely weather and lots of friendly Yorkshire Folk. Here are a few snippets of the day including a few location photographs around the Cragwood Hotel grounds which are absolutely peppered in Daffodils at the moment.










We can not recommend Jason highly enough, he is fabulous in all respects; both he and the photos totally exceeded our expectations. Having your photos taken by him is an absolute pleasure. He does not take over as though its his day & boss people around - like so many wedding photographer dictators! And nor does he make you stand in one boring position for hours whilst having the same shot taken but with different guests!. Even guests that don’t normally like having their photo’s taken loved him. So if you want a great guy who adds to your day & takes amazing photo’s (and does it quickly or without you even noticing) then choose Jason.

The Borrowdale Hotel - Borrowdale - Cumbria

Last week I managed to get down to the Borrowdale Hotel to shoot a few new images capturing the warmth, character and cosiness the Hotel has to offer. Here are a few interior images of this recently refurbished hotel which is situated in the heart of the truly magnificent Borrowdale Valley a short drive away from the Lodore Falls Hotel.

Helen and Dan had a great wedding here in the Lake District on Saturday the 12th of March after traveling from cheshire. The Ceremony was held at St Oswalds in Grasmere, with the wedding reception being held at Glenridding's ultimate Wedding Venue, The Inn on the Lake. We returned from Thailnd at the weekend, had a really amazing time, and were thrilled to find the picture cd from you had arrived already. The photos are absolutely amazing - you have completely captured the spirit of the day and we are so so pleased with every single one we have seen.
I think we have already watched the full disc through more than 5 times and everyone who has seen them so far has been gushing about them all, both the amazing landscape shots and how well you have captured the people (and made us all look so gorgeous!).
I plan to circulate the link to your blog this week and will encourage comments so watch out for that.
The internet speed while we were away was pants so we didn't see many of the pics before our return hence delayed feedback, so sorry to not get back to you before now... But needless to say worth the wait!!!
We will be in touch some more re prints and an album.
