Augill Castle Wedding Photography

Augill Castle is truly an awesome Wedding Venue located in Kirby Stephen where Lisa and Mat became husband and wife on the 20th of June. The weather was on and off with rain and sunny spells and finally managed to pick up later on after the Wedding Breakfast to give us the opportunity to get out on a location shoot.

Augill Castle

I managed to get out for a drive through to Kirby Stephen yesterday as I wanted to check out Augill Castle before I shoot my next wedding there. It's always beneficial for me the check out the Wedding Venue before the shoot as I can scout out a few areas for groups and fine detail. The gardens are alive with a whole range of plants at the moment including Lupins, Foxgloves,Alliums, and a lovely Ceanothus which frames the grand castle entrance nicely combined with a Wisteria.
What a cool venue with loads and loads of character including stained glass with a Yorkshire Rose which I couldn't resist capturing on my camera.

The Lodore Falls Hotel Keswick Wedding Photography

Anna and Neil travelled from Lincoln to have their marriage at the Lodore Falls hotel situated in the picture perfect Borrowdale Valley.

We both want to say a huge thank you for both the whole day of snapping away and getting some amazing and perfect photos to us for when we got home! haven't found a single person that hasn't been amazed by our wedding photos and this is solely down to you and your amazingly creative eye for a photo! (the location and the weather helped too) I will be recommending you to everyone I know that is getting married regardless of location!
We had such an amazing day, and cant believe how much time and effort you went to to get the 'perfect shot'. The views over Borrowdale are breathtaking and are so pleased that we asked the best photographer to give us more than our memories of the 'big day'.
We are so happy with the photos we are now really struggling to have a shortened list for the wedding album as we love them all! The photo of us on top of the hill behind the Lodore Falls Hotel looking over the valley is above all our favourite though.
Thank you for taking both the special shots of just Neil and I in various locations, as well as the 'traditional' family group shots. Thank you for making us and everyone else feel so at ease with you, its like we had known you for years!
When we looked at our wedding video we were both shocked to see you in front of us snapping away, it is really strange that we don't remember you being there! You were ingenious with situations involving pageboys who didn't want their photo taken. You managed to make even the most camera shy person shine on the photos without them looking remotely uncomfortable.
I cant think of many more words to use to say how thrilled we are with you and our wedding photos.
We are still amused at images of you laying in bushes, skipping up the hill like a mountain goat, and telling people politely to move out the shot!
Many thanks once again Hope you are well,
The Markhams
