Back from Scuba Diving in Mexico with the Canon G12 and Canon WP-DC34

The Mexican Yucatan Peninsula, Mayan history, friendly locals and diving varying from the cenote caverns to Cozumel. 'There's just not enough time in the day" we heard ourselves saying whilst having breakfast in Playacar. Abyss Dive Centre in Playa Del Carmen provided a great service guiding us around all of these amazing dive sites. Whilst diving with the Abyss, Cath & Chris were very helpful with extending our diving qualifications to advanced diver and nitrox diver.Photography equipment and tips to capture our diving in Mexico as follows. Canon G12 , Canon Underwater Housing, IST video light bought from cameras underwater. One thing to remember which seems to catch a few photographers out is keep your eye on your ISO levels as light levels decrease whilst cavern diving.Remember the higher your ISO the more noise you will notice in the image. Also maintain a shutter speed no lower than an 80th of a second to avoid any potential camera shake.
