We were fortunate enough to see the big five in one day which was a first for me. Must thank the very experienced Game Driver, Howard Thorne, as he was quick off the mark for those crucial positions to try and capture that perfect shot. Leopard , Leopard and more Leopard Wow! Some frantic moments in the car whilst heading back to Berg-en-Dal camp during the late afternoon with lovely light. Just as you think your day is over, cruising steadily through the bush with rugged mountains in the distance, the sighting that makes your day is waiting around the corner......SOMEONE SHOUTS Leopard. This is where I feel sorry for the driver! STOP, back a bit, there's a tree, forward, stop. As soon as we are set up and in position guess what? the Leopard moves on and what started as an adrenalin moment of checking camera settings turns into a stakeout, waiting for the next movement.
